What the heck is maid?
Here in Canada it stands for “medical assistance in dying”. As in getting Kevorkian’d.
So like I really hope OP didn’t mean it that way.
I like to think literally a maid, only because that’s funnier.
Probably did. Can’t say I’m not seriously considering it myself.
Please talk to a medical professional about these feelings ASAP.
I’d really like you to explain what you think is gonna happen if I do contact a medical professional about this.
Adjusting your meds, counseling, etc?
Adjusting Meds: Not going to happen. My GP has outright refused to adjust my meds for mental health because he doesn’t have the training for it. He is waiting for a psychiatrist referral to go through so they can recommend meds. There’s a slight problem with that though. The first referral took 8 months to go through and I was given a grand total of 3 appointments in 2 months. Meaning there was no time to see whether the meds would work or not. They didn’t, they made shit worse. I told my GP. He put me on the old stuff at my request and discontinued the new stuff. He sent out another referral for another psychiatrist. That was less than a month ago. So meds are just not going to be adjusted at all.
Counselling: Also on a waitlist. Have been for over a year.
Etc: The only other option is to be held, against my will, in a mental institution. I would refuse to let this happen to the point of a guarantee of injuring others because I am not okay with being fucking taken against my will. I am not giving up my free will because i’m fucking sad and don’t want to live. It is MY life. MY decision. If I did decide to kill myself right now then it is my choice. If I do not want help it is my choice. To force me into a hospital and force medication on me is outright fucking evil. The only shit worse than that is sexual assault, torture, and murder. I’d say kidnapping but that’d be what you’re forcing the person to undergo anyway.
That’s what would happen dude. Either nothing or kidnapping. And lemme say from past experience with mental institutions, they make shit worse. They will keep you there and remove you from any social services. So when they release you back into the public, you have to get everything all over again. You are now homeless. You don’t have anything. Your items are gone because they’ve been sold or stolen. You have no where to go. No where to turn. No way to afford the medication. You end up feeling worse than you did when you went in and now you’re going through withdrawal because of medication they put you on that you can’t reliably get.
i may sound a little unethical but giving the sheer amount of drugs at your disposal, it is not that easy to run out of options
Ah that makes sense. No wonder I couldn’t find it, was looking for recreational drugs
