Threads is an Ok experience right now. No ads, for example, or so I’ve heard. However, eventually money needs to be made… and that’s when things start going bad. Zuck said he’d monetize the platform at 1B users, which doesn’t seem so far away.
It looks like a nice platform now, and that’s probably the draw. I also wonder if this might encourage Twitter to make some actually good decisions to compete with Threads.
