My basis of this claim are three things – torrent traffic is colossal, and torrents are mostly used for piracy (Mullvad evading DMCA issues) and ProtonVPN free tier does the exact same thing with banning P2P torrenting.

You are better off getting a seedbox from some place in Europe than trying to deal with slow vpn speeds.
