I’ma prison abolitionist, I don’t believe the institution of the prison has positive effects on society, but I do concede that in the event of a positive revolution, there will need to be ways to ensure that individuals do not retain the ability to unfairly influence politics nor to cause harm to others. I just don’t believe prisons are the institution best suited to do so.
