Archive.org replaces all links with their own site so you don’t click a link and get directed to a non-existent page. I’d bet that after they do this lemmy’s JavaScript renders the UI, but the domains have all changed to web.archive.org/instance, so in the UI’s mind everyone is from web.archive.org
The real tragedy here is that with the OP deleted I doubt we’ll get a follow-up. How am I meant to sleep without knowing if this man managed to go three days without shitting??
