I had a good day
fedilink

Normally, when I have a day off I stay in bed until the afternoon. I don’t leave the house and nothing gets done. Have hard time figuring out what to eat when I eventually get hungry.

Woke up today at 9:30 am because the neighbors are having noisy work done. I’ve slept through it before but today I had energy… damn it, energy is gone.

TL;DR
Started a load of wash
Took dog for short walk and car ride
Went to pharmacy
Went to grocery store
Came home with dog
Started another load of laundry
Cleaned my apartment
Did some more laundry
Folded all laundry
Attempted to start a crock pot dinner for tonigh
Made lunch for tomorrow

Over a year since I done all this in a day

Running errands with my dog. I often feel guilty because I do not take him out a lot. He basically has 24/7 yard access and I use that as an excuse to not take him out for walks. He is low energy breed but I know he loves going out.

Used to have a girlfriend with a cat who trotted along at my side as I was doing stuff around the apartment complex. Garden, picking up / delivering packages for neighbours, laundry, just taking a walk. She was an indoor cat, but it just meant that she wasn’t outside unsupervised in her case. Bonus sadness that with the breakup, the cat was gone as well. These errands were a lot more fun with her, and people were a lot more friendly.

l lost a dog and a cat to the ex a little over a year ago so I feel your pain. They could be pains in the ass but I do miss them.
