it is fucking ridiculous to have a policy that allows ANYONE to snatch a domain 12 days BEFORE it expires. It incentivizes cybersquatting and completely makes the TLD untrustworthy. I do not know what is the endgoal, short term gains over long term? Who is going to buy a .pe TLD knowing that it’s going to be snatched away so easily. Especially for something that costs $80/year, you can get TEN trustworthy domains for that price!

If that’s what happened, that’s nuts. I guess don’t use punto.pe as your domain registrar, and since they’re in charge of the .pe TLD, don’t use .pe.
But is that what really happened? Because it doesn’t match up with their policies.
