One car had sat in the sun with no refrigeration for a week before it got to us. When we cracked that thing open, the smell was atrocious. It was like we could feel it as it expanded out, it was so potent.

a flowering/sprouting potato creeps me out in a way i can’t describe, they look completely alien.
And then you can plant us in the garden and have a bunch more, how cool is that!
The healthiest house plants in my home are the potatoes in the bottom of the kitchen cupboard I forgot about.

The secret is to store them in dirt. Worst case scenario, you now have a potato plant instead of a potato.
