I’m triggered by this and will now spend the rest of the day being unproductive.

Don’t believe you.
Here’s a test: Take some Adderall. If you’re a spaz for 6 hours that does an entire semesters worth of homework, the laundry for the whole house for a week, and clean your room for the first time in three years, you don’t have ADHD.
If you take it and act like a normal human being for the first time in your life, then you do.
Your milage will vary.
Meds are the only thing that gets me through the day and the inattentiveness just gets worse the older I get.
Anyone that thinks ADHD is fake is an asshole adding absolutely nothing to the conversation.
Report, block and move on.
How many peoples lives are you expecting to change with this? You really think you know how each one of their minds work to the extent that you can diagnose an entire online community? Will we all just say “Holy shit! He’s right! I can function like a normal human again. I suddenly remember all those things that blink in and out of my brain throughout the day!”
I’m not sure if you’re butthurt because you DO have ADHD and think that all these others are just pretending to be as special as you, or if you think you’re smarter than all of the psychologists who have studied the disorder, but either way, I don’t see why you think this statement will be helpful to anyone.
Are you lashing out because you are hurting? Is there anything we can do to help?
Tell that to the doc that diagnosed me with it in the mid 90s.
Spoiler alert: ADHD is a nuanced spectrum; a grab bag of issues that are interchangeable.
Me? No, I’m here for the memes.
Many other users here? It’s likely they do, and if you’re one of those people who thinks it’s a fake condition, go away.
