We have some electric but lines in San Sebastian (Spain) too, no issues, the buses are lovely, they work fine. It has been about 4 years since they first got introduced, no major issues.

It’s a pain to unmute before it starts, you have a banner hiding the top and bottom screen so you only see half of the video. If it didn’t work at least I would have an excuse to tell them not to send me links while being polite. (it works fine on pc though)

Server wise they are practically identical, but the AndroidTV app of jellyfin lags behind quite a bit, the media player is bad, it doesn’t handle well changing subtitles, moving the clip forward and backward… Some of these are fixed by using an external video player, but weirdly enough there have been some movie formats that jellyfin couldn’t handle (the TV app) and emby did.

I just wish that the TV app were identical to the android app with remote functionality, but I’m no android dev so I’ll stay put and wait.

The last commit was 2 days ago which shows promise. It’s not the same author, but slide was on source anyways so the more publicity and contributors it gets, the better.

I’m waiting for Slide, I might even try to help the development but idk shit about android apps so maybe it’s better I don’t touch it lmao.

Slide has the best customization I have seen for any reddit app hands down.
