Not sure what you’re seeing, but the account is not private, and she mentions her new Editor in Chief position on other social media accounts, AND she’s “verified” on Threads, so if this is someone doing a bit, they’re going to an awful lot of trouble for it.
Believe what you want, this is obvious trolling. I’m hardly shocked that someone would end up with a blue check mark after on-boarding millions of users in a day.
It doesn’t even remotely pass the sniff test. Come on guys, use some common sense here.
I’m not sure common sense is really a great metric for these kinds of things anymore, tbh - Poes Law and all.
Yeah I think it’s trolling too. That said, some links are showing the account as private, others show it public with that editor in chief note. Weird
