As per title. None of my IRL friends would have a clue what to do with it, so I want it to go to someone who knows what they’re doing.

Well make sure to use unique login info, from what I hear the IPT guy has been known to use people’s info to get into other trackers when they had poor enough opsec to use the same pass/email. Iirc there was other stuff too, IPT isn’t accepted as proof by most other sites and I’m sure people will chime in here with more sketchy things from the site, but I don’t remember. Still I have no other option until the day when I get another option lol.
I was able to use my IPT ratio to get approved for TL. Perhaps it’s because I’ve uploaded multiple TB more than I’ve downloaded, but it was enough to get me approved.
If there’s any invites still available I’d like to have one! I have a seed box and am a member of several other private trackers with good ratio so I promise to be good!

I’m using TL and cannot for the life of me keep a decent ratio. My speeds just cannot compete against seedboxes. Even idling in the IRC waiting for fresh content hasnt helped. YMMV
well you can always cheat, just do it on torrents with a lot of activity and make it so that you only get like 1GB per day per torrent, you will never get caught
It doesn’t have anything to do with speeds mate, it’s easy to keep a good ratio on TL by downloading freeleech content and seeding it for 10+ days. It doesn’t even have to be content you want. Just keep it seeding and you’ll rack up big numbers, which you can then exchange for upload credit.
I’ve had 4 or 5 torrents from TL in transmission (which is on 24/7) for 30+ days now and they haven’t even hit 0.5. All freeleech, all relatively active.
It’s been a while since I had an active seedbox but what I did was use a script I found on github to monitor the irc where the new releases got announced and grab them before they hit the RSS feed. Freeleach took too long to reach >1 ratio if I didn’t get in early. I didn’t use TL so it might be different but it’s worth looking into. In my experience the faster you got a partial seed up the better, speed really wasn’t a factor. If you’re providing the files for the people manually looking for new releases to seed for ratio you’d be better off.

You will have accrued points on those torrents, which you can then exchange for upload credit. This is probably where most people’s ratio comes from on TL. Other sites are different, but TL is very generous in this regard.

What I used to do was look for high activity free leech, and then let it seed for a few weeks.
Freeleech and permaleech if you dont want to get a seedbox

Get new, freeleech torrents. They don’t count against your download, but you still get credit for any upload.
