Could we get all the former subreddit mods who migrated to lemmy/kbin to unite and make some promo for lemmy/kbin on /r/place?
A community to talk about the Fediverse and all it’s related services using ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, KBin, etc).

I’d support this.
If you want to disrupt reddit, I don’t think giving them a spike from place would really matter. It’d just be a spike, and if you use it to promote alternatives, then that’s probably a win-win.
Otherwise, promoting this place is a good thing, so I say go for it.
Quite the dilemma.
Promote the fediverse but give Reddit the traffic it currently desperately needs, or continue boycotting Reddit but don’t get any cheeky content.
I mean, it’s clear what we should do, but playing into Reddit’s hands and getting some chaos in return would also be fun.
I’ll skip this one, but you all are free to do whatever you like. I’ll be watching out for the (hopefully) resulting shitstorm. Go at it! :)
Wait a minute, did private API keys still work? If Tux’s Place does something fun with bots, then I might just lend an instance or two.
EDIT: Tux’s Place writes the following:
Guess I’m staying put.
Well, the current state is… nice https://lemmy.world/post/1867777
Don’t be fooled into thinking /r/place is in any way a tool for free expression. If King Steven detects any threat to his Realm, he will use the full powers of the Crown against that threat.
Participate on Reddit? No. Incognito browsers only. Take everything, give nothing back.
I want a large pixel art of Lemmy Kilmister.
Ha! They’ve revived place? They must really be desperate for engagement.
I loved place both previous times it happened. I’ll happily look at the final canvas, but that’ll be the extent of my involvement this time.
