I agree to a certain point. I’m not going to stop using Reddit totally, but I’ve got to admit that I’ve used it less and less after I started using Lemmy… I rarley go on reddit.

The point is to maybe get more traffic for us. But I do agree with you, traffic is traffic.

I got no problem with humor… But rasistical humor I don’t really care for. It is possible to have fun without hurting loads of peoples feelings.

Since lemmy is federaversed I would imagine that much worse crap than what you see on Reddit can come to the surface… I hope to see a community where this is not the case… But since everyone can create it’s own instance everything can exist.

I’ve noticed that I use Lemmy much more than I use reddit. I think there is loads of things to improve but i like it.

What I wonder is how Lemmy handles this. He is writing about how Mastodon do things, not Lemmy.

I really don’t like Lemmy’s interface at all… I’ve been using Connect for Lemmy but switched to Jerboa and really like it.

I would just suggest using apps instead of the website until they are able to make something that actually works…

I’m one of the people that actually like how reddits interface, and I don’t like the old design, it’s just to complex and 2000s for me.

Well it kinda makes sense that people will move to the bigger platform’s… But I hope the open source ones gets more traction. I’m noticing that I use less reddit now… And when Relay stops working I might migrate fully.

I’ve been using Connect mostly but I just switched to Jerboa which seems to be one of the most downloaded apps right now.

The interface is cleaner and nice IMO. You don’t get the drag for reaction / comment / bookmark but thats fine, it don’t work very well to begin with. Seems to be more stable as well but I’ve not yet used it that much.

I was planning on using Jerboa but there was a issue when i first tried it that made me not able to login.

There is a few more comming. Pretty fun to aee how many apps have been popping up.

I’ve been using Connect for Lemmy for a few days now and it helped me a lot with finding instances I wanted to follow.

Relay for Reddit is at least comming with a subscription model but to be quite honest I think I’ll start using Lemmy much more.
