I like it the most. You can argue if its privacy friendly, but i like the fact that it doesnt collect data linked to me as Apple App Store shows. Then check whatsapp or fb messenger how much your data it collects.
I don’t care much about iMessage. All the people I know who are not an iPhone users use facebook messenger and cry about how bad quality sending pictures and videos are. But do nothing to change that. Thats the problem. I was going though hell to convince my girlfriend to use Signal to chat with me. Because she is an Android user.

True. I am not using facebook app for years but still have fb messenger for the same reasons
