It’s not just women btw. But I agree. I’m not sure whether lemmit has a system in place for takedown requests based on own personality rights. They should have that.

I went on a bit of a research trip and found these sports communities with at least 1 post in the last 7 days:

Tennis: [email protected]

Hockey: [email protected]

Basketball: [email protected]

Cycling: [email protected]

Rugby: [email protected]

American Football: NFL [email protected] College Football [email protected] (Fanaticus.social also has communities for individual NFL teams)

Motorsports: [email protected]

Boxing: [email protected]

Sports in general: [email protected]

Pop Heads: [email protected]

Music Memes: [email protected]

NameThatSong - for when you can’t figure out the name of that one song: [email protected]

Oddly specific Playlists: [email protected]

That one I can see why the comment is removed. The Statement that

When agreements are reached, there is always one side who breaches the agreements.

simply is a blatant lie.

Lemmy.ml mods remove “two-sideism” comments on Israel-Palestine conflict on AskLemmy, causing drama
A user posted the question [What opened your eyes to what's happening in Palestine?](https://lemmy.ml/post/8593526) on [email protected]. As is evidenced, multiple comments have been removed by mods. The [Mod log](https://lemmy.ml/modlog/8?page=1&actionType=ModRemoveComment) shows the moderator removing multiple of these comments due to "rule 1", which on lemmy.ml is: >No bigotry - including racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia. Code of Conduct. The mods then also [banned](https://lemmy.ml/modlog?page=1&actionType=ModBan) some of the commenting users for a few days. This all lead to [a post ](https://withachanceof.com/post/68568)by one of the affected users to AskLemmy, accusing the mods of "removing all comments critical of Hamas". "No comments critical of Israel were removed", the user alleges. The post has since been removed by the lemmy.ml mods as well and the user banned for 14 days.
