Actually the non GUI Snaps are good. I still prefer not to use snaps but they are well done. It’s just the software for the average user that starts to suck on Ubuntu. Their focus silently shifted to cloud and server, not desktop. And it shows

Kann ich bestätigen. Jedoch ist man in der Nachweispflicht. Mit dem lokalen Jobcenter und Finanzamt ist nicht zu spaßen. Ich habe zwei mal meine Geburtsurkunde mitbringen müssen, weil ich nach der Schule das erste Mal von einer Steuernummer für Arbeitgeber gehört habe. Da meine originale aber in einem gefluteten Keller verschwand, und wohl eine Kopie nicht ausreichte, musste ich lange hin und her telefonieren und pendeln.

Was deutsche Ämter angeht, habe ich lieber ein wasserdichtes Profil. Sobald doch mal was fehlt, wirst du maximal zur Sau gemacht. Zumindest in Bayern scheint es extrem zu sein, aber eigentlich sind wir eh deutsches Ausland haha
