I assumed just German memes but I was always afraid to ask on Reddit. Is there a specific style of humor, or jokes about things only Germans would understand?
Well, the humor can be understood only by German-speaking people. Humor mostly understood just by Germans is when it’s about German politics, developments in German society, or German regional culture etc. So I don’t think the kind of humor is specific to anything German, just the subject.
