They make all my neurons fire at the same time and make me feel alive. So maybe not “about” adhd, but for people with adhd.

The name of the band can be offputting, but they are a really good punk band : Viagra Boys. They have a song called “The Cognitive Trade-Off Hypothesis” which is my favourite from them. The subject is straight up how ADD is maybe a result of our evolution. Really funny lyrics as well.

The Car Song - The Cat Empire
It’s funny because last week I was listening to this song again and thinking about 15 years ago me hearing this song for the first time. And how much it resonated with me because I totally related to the “I really need to buckle down and apply myself but something always distracts me and crap now it’s Monday again where did time go” undercurrent in this song.
