Le Potato aka Libre Computer is still on Amazon in the US for $35.
I don’t have hard numbers, just loose ones. From what I’ve read Reddit had about 400 million daily active users. From what I know only about one or two million users are on Lemmy. Now that’s a massive jump from where it was just a few months ago, but it’s a drop in the hat.
If my information is even remotely correct that’s less than 1%.
If you’re an invested user of Office, just get the Microsoft 365 suite. It’s a decent value. If you aren’t that picky, online office is pretty decent too. And of course there’s always LibreOffice.
If they wanted a real time conversation they would have called you. The nice thing about texting is that it’s a passive communication not an active one.
