Yep you can download a native app that has a bit more features than the web app.

Memmy development is basically dead. Try something else.

Memmy development seems essentially dead, I would move on.

I use Voyager now.

We NEED better abilities to migrate accounts to other instances like what Mastodon has!

Mine mostly comes from how they treated Christian, the developer of the Apollo app. Ridiculous.

It’s made in React/Expo… fancy JavaScript. The devs will release for Android eventually.

Only in development a few months and lots of updates.

Rest, treat the symptoms as needed, some evidence maybe that zinc might help early on for shortening the cold maybe… but maybe not.

Really, just needs to run it’s course

Password hashes are only useless if you have a good password to begin with.

If not, they can likely get your actual password from it if you re-use passwords etc.

They create giant databases of every breached password in rainbow tables from previously breached password hashes, and then try them all if they ever expose another breach. If they get a database in a breach they can try a lot, like trillions, very fast.

Re-using passwords makes things much easier for them.

Bots attempt passwords on sites’ login forms all the time but aren’t very effective. Usually have hundreds a day even when I had a wedding site not even listed on google. Probably only works for very short and frequently used passwords.

What’s so bad about using docker? Serious question.

The dev is about to release a new ‘slider’ for when you slide to reply because it had issues.

The lack of communities is apparently a lemmy issue despite working in wefwef. Dev looked into it apparently. Something about the api they are using. Only affecting certain instances.

They’re developing very fast hence the bugs. They do fix quickly too though. Im trying to submit as many bugs to them on GitHub as possible.

You can’t reply to comments? You swipe to reply. I have no issues replying on any version of it.

There are bugs but the developers fix a ton very quickly.

I think there has been talks before of some kind of groups on the Lemmy GitHub. So maybe in the future. Likely not a priority right now.

Each instance has to have at least one subscriber to the second instance for it to start syncing.

If there are no subscribers, put the url of the second instance in the search on the web interface for the first instance, subscribe, and you’ll be the first person to get it syncing

Also could be bugs. :p

Supposed to be based on time since posted with some kind of logarithmic decay and rating.

But yeah it seems buggy.
